Vaya4it (Pty) Ltd, trading as VAYA, operates this South African sneaker store from 43 Bosworth Street, Alrode. We use personal information to fulfil orders and respond to customer requests. This notice describes the rebuilt store on Cloudflare.
Information we collect
When you place an order or ask for delivery, you provide your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. We record the shoes, sizes, quantities, price, order reference, payment status, delivery choice and tracking details. If you contact us, we keep the information needed to answer your request. The website also receives technical information such as your IP address and browser request details to operate and protect the service.
How we use it
We use this information to maintain your bag, check stock, take payment, deliver your order, send transaction emails, handle returns and support requests, prevent abuse, and keep records required for our business and legal obligations. The information needed to complete an order is mandatory; without it, we cannot take payment or deliver shoes. We do not use order details for marketing emails unless you separately choose to receive them.
Payments and service providers
PayFast hosts the payment page. VAYA receives a transaction reference and payment status, but does not collect or store your card number. Cloudflare hosts the website, product images and order database. Resend sends payment and dispatch emails. A delivery courier receives the name, contact number and address needed to deliver an order. Bob Go, Payflex and PayJustNow are not active checkout integrations at launch.
Cookies and order links
The bag uses an essential cookie that expires after 30 days. Staff sign-in uses a separate essential session cookie that expires after eight hours. We do not run advertising pixels in this rebuilt store. Your order-progress link is private; anyone with that link may see the order status, so please do not share it publicly.
Storage and your choices
Expired delivery quotes and staff sessions are cleared regularly; inactive bag records are cleared after 31 days. Order and tax records are kept for the applicable record-keeping period, generally at least five years from the relevant tax return, and longer where an audit or dispute requires it. We review requests to correct, access or delete information, subject to records we must lawfully keep. Some service providers may process information outside South Africa.
